Rasel Ahmmed Bappi enrolled in Political Science at Titumir College after passing HSC from Science Group. He wanted to be a CSE graduates but was unable to get admission in any public university. Besides, it was not possible for his parents to bear the expenditure of a private university. During his honours studies, he saw IDB-BISEW IT Scholarship intake announcements and made up his mind to try for the scholarship after graduation.

Bappi applied for IT Scholarship after his graduation and succeeded in the screening tests. He took the scholarship seriously and completed the C#.Net Diploma in 2010 along with MCPD certification. He got his first job in a software company as a Trainee programmer with a monthly salary of Tk. 8,000 only. With a few years’ experience he changed jobs and is now working as a Software Engineer in Bootlight Limited and drawing a salary of Tk. 60,000 per month.

As the eldest son of his parents, he is contributing to family’s upkeep by providing for the educational expenditures of his younger brother and sister. His poor parents are proud of him. Bappi believes that all the success he has achieved so far was possible because of the IDB-BISEW IT Scholarship programme. He dreams of becoming a successful international IT professional.
